FFF EYES

Kaleb is such a beautiful child, and he expresses himself with his eyes!!!! Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend. We had a great time yesterday with Kaleb. We went to one of his favorite restaurants Moe's. He dined on chicken, black beans, chips, and guacamole. We then went to Target where he picked out a new bath toy. It was an awesome night!! Happy Friday.

It seems just like yesterday when we were first handed our little 7 1/2 month old son. Kaleb we love you so much and we couldn't imagine our lives without you in it. Of course the terrible 2's are upon us MAJORLY but we would not have it any other way!!!! Happy Forever Family Day!!!! I am not sure exactly how to conjugate this but in spanglish it is Feliz Siempre y Famililia Dia. Slowly I am learning spanish so that Kaleb will one day be fluent. Have an awesome day everyone!!!!

FFF- Easter in the past

Our digital camera goes through batteries like there is no tomorrow, so apparently that is what happened because there are no pictures of Kaleb all dressed up. We have pictures of us but they must have been taken by church members and family!!! I will definitley make sure to pick up some extra batteries today!!! Kaleb has a egg hunt at church tomorrow morning and then the one at my parent's house in the late afternoon. He will probably really get into it this year!!!! St. Patrick's Day a day late

I hope that you had a great and lucky Monday. I planned to post this last night, but with the possibility of moving and a new baby on the way my mind is all over the place. Here is a great Irish Quote that is for everyone: "May you always walk in sunshine. May you never want for more. May Irish angels rest their wings right beside your door." I hope that all of us that are in the midst of an adoption will look through the craziness and see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!
Adoption News: We will be traveling May 15-18 to visit Pauline and Miguel.

Kaleb 31 months

Before I know it Kaleb is another month closer to 3. It is amazing how quick time is flying by. I remember as a child it seemed like summer lasted forever. Now as an adult before I know it another year has passed. My parents were right, time does go by much quicker when you are an adult!!!
Kaleb had a great time tonight with Daddy at work. The football team has started lifting weights so Kaleb gets to hang out and play with all the big boys. I had some mommy time and went to church for bible study. Hopefully soon we will be able to go on a date. Our last date was our anniversary last summer. We better do it soon as we have a little one on the way. I still can't believe it. I love to sit and look at the ultrasound pictures. They make it seem so real. God is good and He has blessed us beyond measure!!! Have a great night and a happy Monday!!

FFF New Bambino

Well todays FFF had to be the ultrasound pic of our new little one. His picture is now in the header in case you didn't notice. So far Kamden is in the lead as the name of our next son. Kamden Thomas, I like the sound of that!!!! I hope that you all are having a great week. We are visiting family and will be home later. Have a great weekend!!!!
Oh the next OB visit for Pauline is in 4 weeks!!! We will be setting up our visit trip this week for sometime in May. Our conversations keep getting better and better which makes me think we are moving in the right direction. WOO HOO!!! Adoption is definitely the craziest roller coaster I have ever been on!!!

Pauline's appt.

Pauline had an appt. with the Dr. today and all went well. The only major thing is that they changed her due date to the 30th of July. The measurements of the baby are what changed the due date. She is happy with her OB which is a good thing. I actually talked with Miguel a bit today. He, like most husbands, rather Pauline take care of everything. They are both anxious to meet us. Our plan is to go mid May to meet and visit with them. We are not going to take Kaleb this trip so that we can really get to know them.
On another note we have been throwing around K names. I thought that since they will be brothers and not too far apart it would be cute for them to both have a name that starts with K. We are thinking Kamden Thomas. Kaleb likes Kaden Thomas, but I am more partial to Kamden. Let me know what you think!!!

Impatiently waiting in a snow storm

Well the lady at the agency didn't give me Pauline and Miguel's new number and by the time I realized this they were done for the day. What does this mean?? We have to wait until Monday!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR This is sooooo frustrating!!!! I know that she didn't intentionally not give it to me, but of all times people. In the mean time we are in the midst of a winter wonderland. We took Kaleb out for a bit, but once the snow started creaping up under his gloves he was not a happy camper. Enjoy the pix and relax Monday will be here soon enough and then we will all know. FFF 1 Year Ago & No News Yet

I just got an e-mail that Pauline and Miguel are getting a land line and for me to call them tomorrow after 4. So we may not know anything until tomorrow. This majorly stinks b/c 1/2 the world is anxiously awaiting with us. I will let everyone know as soon as I find out. Looks like it may be another sleepless night!!!!

A bit of news!!!!

Pauline called the agency yesterday and wanted them to let me/us know that she is doing great and that the baby is moving around lots. She also said for me not to worry!!! That meant alot as this is such a different experience compared to Kaleb's adoption. Tomorrow is the big day and my girl radar keeps going off. With Kaleb God let me know exactly when he was born. No one believed me until we got the referral and everything was exact. I could be wrong about this but I think we are having a girl. Like I have said before we just want a healthy baby, the gender is not a big deal. This child will be such a blessing like Kaleb!!!
Tim thinks that we have too many pictures on our hard drive. I will keep trying. I got some cute pics this morning of Kaleb primping with all my stuff on the vanity. He even put on some perfume. Tim will die when he finds out. He already says that Kaleb is around me way too much!!! You gotta love it!!!

Crazy Camera and/or Computer

Well I have some pictures that I want to download on my hard drive so that I can show them to you all, but it keeps saying incorrect perimeter. I have never had trouble until the last few pictures I took. Could something be wrong with my camera? This is very frustrating b/c I have got some really cute pix of Kaleb. If you have had this happen and know what to do please leave me a comment. I am at my wits end.
3 more days until we find out the gender. Very exciting!!!! I will keep trying with the pictures.

Think Pink!!!!!

Friday is the big day that we find out our babies gender. I am thinking pink and feeling pink. As long as they are healthy I am good with a boy or a girl. But I feel in my heart that we are going to have a little girl. It has been frustrating lately b/c I haven't been able to talk to Pauline and Miguel. They now have a GO phone with no minutes. The social worker at our agency is going to visit them Thursday so hopefully all will be taken care of then. There is no way I can go through the whole weekend without knowing what we are having. Think Pink!!!!
Yesterday was a beautiful day!!! It ended up being 72 degrees. My aunt came over and we took Kaleb to the park. He had a blast and didn't want to leave. I will post pics later. Have a great day!!!!!
